Executive Assistant 

Reporting to – Partner level

Salary – £25,000-35,000 (depending on candidate)

Status – Full-time

Location – Work from home (preferably in an EU country)

TMP Systems is an international consultancy that applies innovative expertise in finance, data and technology to solve complex problems in international development and environmental sustainability. Our priority is discovering, developing and deploying systems that efficiently help people in emerging markets. We work with financial institutions, NGOs and government aid agencies to deliver concrete progress in areas such as land use, tenure rights and the energy sector.

The Role

We are looking for a responsible and motivated person to be our Executive Assistant, working closely with our head of operations.

The primary responsibilities of the job are:

·         Schedule meetings and calls with colleagues and clients across multiple time zones

·         Book travel and accommodation

·         Book-keeping and handling invoice payments and receipts

·         Manage consultant timesheets and expenses using our accountancy software

·         Assist with website management and client research

·         Assist with preparations for meetings, e.g. writing up agendas and editing presentations

·         Help with project research

·         Assist with procurements to include direct interface with client procurement personnel, updating and monitoring placed orders and tracking order shipments and status

This job requires you to work very independently and to be flexible with your hours of availability as TMP’s Partners and Associates are spread across several time zones.  The company has a central office in Lewes but the Executive Assistant must be comfortable working from home.

Qualifications and skills

·         Fluent English

·         Strong organizational skills

·         High capacity to take initiative and work autonomously

·         Excellent ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing

·         Confidence in using IT (proficiency in MS Office and online databases)

·         Experience with detailed procurements and procurement logistics

·         Experience of book keeping or accounts management preferred

·         Fluency in another language is preferred, particularly French or Spanish
